What Browser?
Just as a straw poll, is anyone using anything other than Internet Explorer as their default browser?

Been using Opera for a number of years now - supports easy mouse movements to go back and forward plus many other extras. Having to use IE at moment owing to being in between systems. And so far prefer Opera.

Primarily use AOL's own browser at home, but it's not always very user-friendly so sometimes switch to Explorer through it.

btinternets own browser - no complaints but not much difference ti IE apart from colour!

firefox by far the best, but don't forget to load the plug-ins i.e shockwave, realplayer etc

Downloaded Firefox to see what it's like. Are there any particular advantages over IE for a normal user like me?
(know it's not Hertford related but this seems as good a place to ask as any Admin).

It's faster, has tabbed browsing and lots of plugins. Much more "feature rich" as they say. IE hasn't been updated for yonks.

It has junk mail filters that you can teach so they get better and better
