Tesco parking time reduced
As of today the free parking time in Tesco Hertford has been reduced to 2 hours[:(!]

...and their customers when surveyed probably said they spend less then 2 hours when doing their shopping.
Seriously, I can't imagine there are many people that would want to spend more than 2 hours in Tesco. If they do, then they're clearly not very good at walking up and down aisles putting stuff in a trolley.

Not uncommon in supermarket car parks. Be thankful you don't have to buy and display a ticket that's refundable in store for a minimum spend.

which will presumably be the case at sainsburys?
seems to me tesco has been flip flopping from 2 to 3 and back to 2hrs for a while. 2 seems the better option given how busy it gets at weekends.

I thought Sainsburys lauded the fact that they would encourage their shoppers to also use the shops in the town. This was part of their commitment not to impact on the shops in the town. I said early on that they would introduce a two hour restriction eventually and therefore not allow enough time for shoppers to use both their own store and then spend time in the town shopping 'locally'.
