Trains on Sunday 6th May.
I need to be in London for 8.30 on Sunday with my bicycle. Is it correct that any journey by train from either Hertford station will involve rail replacement bus services?

Unfortunately, that is correct. Bikes aren't allowd on bus replacement services. Easier to cycle or drive to Welwyn and get the train from there. I've done this fairly recently, and it's only a pound for all day parking in Osborn Way on a Sunday.

I need to go back to hertford on the train and will probably hop on at cambridge heath - the trainline.com is showing a straightforward journey there and back with a change at seven sisters all on the train.
is this incorrect, and if so where will I have to get on a bus?

If thetrainline says it's a train, then it's a train. I only checked Hertford North which says bus replacement for the first part of the journey to Kings Cross.

Just gone on national rail's website. On Sunday, trains leave Cambridge Heath at 35past and 5past every hour. This is an Enfield Town train, takes 12 mins to get to Seven Sisters. Trains leave Seven Sisters at 4past and 34past every hour for Hertford East. No mention of buses so trains it should be. Hope this helps.
