I've not been woken by any cars there despite living nearby - what sort of time are you talking about? Late night or early morning if you see my meaning? I did write to the neighbourhood police team a few years ago about the boy racers congregating there - wasn't too bothered about them it was the mess of pizza boxes, beer bottles and cans, etc. that they left behind that was the problem. The note seemed to do some good as the police must have visited and they disappeared for quite a while. Maybe worth writing to them again?

They are doing it right now. Admittedly I'm not trying to sleep but it's quite annoying.

It is annoying and clearly falls within the 'anti-social behaviour' bracket so contact the local police team at http://snt.herts.police.uk/aCMS/team.php?nptID=4&dID=3 and see what they can do to help. I'll send them off an email as soon as I've witnessed and such behaviour. They need this type of 'intelligence' to keep doing their job so they will be happy to get the information.

The above link is not working?? Any idea who to contact, we have a similar problem in Hertford North car park,with revving cars, screeching tyres, and boys on mopeds hanging about. They are swearing and leave a mess behind, drive me nuts!!!

Hi Suemay, I think the link isn't working as the Herts Police site was hacked last week and they are advising people to contact them on the 101 'non-emergency' number instead. Otherwise just stop one of the local team and have a chat about the issue if you can find them.

Thanks Golden, I remember now about the hacking! I did call 101, they said they will try and send a unit around to have a look, no sign of them yet.........
