Heritage Open weekend

I think there will be a lot of things going on this weekend so keep an eye on the Mercury for what is open when. St Leonard's Church - Sat 9 am to 5 pm and Sunday 2.30 to 5pm Brickendonbury part of the mansion and gardens - Saturday 12 til 4 Hertford Museum - Go behind the scenes at Hertford Museum stores. Discover how we store and care for out vast and varied collection, visit the Roman corn drying oven and learn more about the fascinating Foxholes Farm excavation, explore our new reference library and you can also see some of our volunteers in action conserving collections in the workroom. Saturday 11.00am- 3.00pm Hertford Castle - Sunday 12 to 4pm plus I am sure there will be other things going on in the area

I don't know but it may be tours only for the parts of the house you can see, give Louise a ring she will tell you. It has a fascinating history that house.

Also Hertford Baptist Church Hertford Quaker Meeting House Shire Hall ( if the ballroom is on show it is worth seeing!) But that's does not have any "heritage" [:D] Hertford was better before it was built..............[;)]
