yellow lines
Has anybody noticed that they, whoever they are , have painted yellow bars on the kerbs leading up to the county hospital.
I think this is very petty of the landowners as the parking did not cause any issues.What I would lke to know if these lines are enforceable as they are not council, and, as I was informed by the nice hospital parking attendant,are nothing to do with the hospital trust as his patch ends at the hospital doors.Thank you, any information would be appreciated.

Not sure exactly what the position is since the law recently changed, but as they are not part of the Hospital Car Park or the Public Highway, they probably are not enforcible.

On the subject of yellow lines. When will the council see sense, I use that word loosely, and put yellow lines on the corners of the roads along the rat run. It would be so much easier to see around the corner without coming half way into the road. Simples or not.

Without resurrecting the done-to-death subject of the right and wrongs of rat-runs*, do you think that yellow lines there would be enforced or ignored in a similar way to the parking on pavements is?
