Reduction in Hertford East line service
I've been hearing this for the past few weeks but not from One - from taxi drivers and other people not affiliated. It seems One plan on removing the fast services to and from Hertford East in December this year, which means something like 26 or 27 stops all the way into London, via Seven Sisters.
I've also heard that another ticket increase is on its way. Quite what they do with all the money they effectively steal from commuters is beyond me, because it doesn't go into the service or trains.
But anyway, has anyone else heard anything about this? I just mailed One customer services but I got an auto responder telling me they "aim to reply to 90% of emails within ten working days", so I don't expect to hear anything back from them. That's "customer service" for you.

Hi Steven,
One held a consultation on the proposed changes a little while back and are currently considering the responses, which were generally vitriolic I'd imagine. If you look in the rail users' forum I think there's a discussion on it.

Last Friday's Mercury (3rd June) had a story headlined "Rush Hour trains to be slowed down despite opposition".
The present 7:08, 7:38 and 8:08 will leave a minute earlier and will stop at Enfield Lock, Brimsdown and Ponders End, adding 6 minutes to the journey. Similarly the 17:24, 17:54 and 18:24 will leave Liverpool Street 8 minutes earlier and take 8 minutes longer.
There will be two extra peak time services leaving Hertford East at 7:17 and 7:46 to Stratford via Tottenham Hale, connecting at Broxbourne to a faster service to Liverpool Street.
