So yesterday afternoon I was cycling home from work along the Cole Green Way when I suddenly found myself cycling along a sandy beach that had been laid out either side of the crossing at Woolmers Lane. "Ooh lovely", I thought. But as my mind turned to dreams of buckets and spades and ice creams in the sun, I suddenly found my bike was sinking into these golden sands and could no longer steer. If it wasn't for my near legendary bike handling skills I would have been heading off down the embankment and on to the QE2 in the back of an ambulance. Long story short, who can I have a official whinge to at the state of these repairs?
