I don't know if anyone else has come across this site but it list's both public car parks and private individuals that rent out there driveway for parking.
A search of "Hertford" revealed quite a few.

How long before Hertford North commuters cotton on to the bargain of parking at County Hospital for £31.80 / quarter? That works out to about £0.55 / working day.

Thanks Hero.. when I need to have a blood test or use the County Hospital site I will appreciate that its full of commuters (I was one for 23 years from HN myself!) who don't need a treatment or appointment because they are unwell [:(!]

I thought the whole point of paying for the hospital car park was so commuters wouldn't use it and it would be available to patients?
