Mains water pressure in Bengeo
Today I've noticed that the water pressure at home is noticeably less than usual. I've asked someone I know who lives near Hertford town centre but water pressure is normal.
Has anyone else in Bengeo noticed a drop in their mains water pressure?

Yep...same here in Bengeo Street...apparently its a burst water main at Chapmore End...

Yep...same here in Bengeo Street...apparently its a burst water main at Chapmore End...

We had no water from 7.30 to 10 pm but considering that must have been one of the big mains I think they did well to get it back that fast.......................

I can confirm, as I tried to drive through the wall of water last night, that a watermain did burst just outside of Chapmore End (the one they fixed the leak on last week!!!!! same spot!!!!!) I have never seen so much water, but they have traffic lights there now, so allow a bit extra for your journey as they are draining/pumping/repairing a lot of pipe!!!!!

.... and they tell us to save water!!!! This is how the other main burst, it was leaking for a few days and then just went with catastrophic effects.... Will they ever learn.. Get it fixed now Affinity before the kids go back to school next week and the traffic causes gridlock!

Tap water is very cloudy in Sele Farm & Willowmead areas, in Willowmead it looks like diluted milk [:(]

That is most likely to be air dissolved in the water. It's quite common after a main repair.
As a test, pour a glass from a cold tap and let it stand for a few minutes. It should clear slowly. If so, then it is perfectly safe to drink.
