Japanese Popup Shop
I had a flyer telling me that there is a popup Katsu curry place, open every Friday on Honey lane (opposite the post office).
I can’t remember the exact price, but It was under £8 for curry, rice and veg. If they are open tonight, I will report back on taste [:D]

Its in Manic Munchies and started on 13th but I heard only for 4 weeks initially. According to the poster its open from 4.30 , offers three curries including a veggie one with all the accompaniments. Bring your own bottle. Take away available. Sorry can't remember what else it said on the poster but am planning to give it a try and will post a review if I manage it.

The food was really lovely, they are market chefs in London and have decided to give this a go as well. As it picks up interest, they will diversify the menu. Current options are chicken, prawn or Pumpkin. Open 16:30-22:30, I will be back next week!

Its mainly a take away Joby. They essentially rent a cafe for an evening so there are tables if you do want to eat in there. There are no plates involved however :P

Tried for the first time tonight. Had the chicken and the prawns. Thumbs up all round - good food, good service, good value. Will certainly be going back.

As did we. As did we. However we found it a little bland. Nice chicken & prawns but sauce a bit gravyish & lacking in taste, chilli sauce not hot enough for my taste & pickled cucumber had no discerable pickling. It may be that it's authentic Japanese but I'd hoped for something a bit more exciting given the lack of such in Hertford.
Despite the above it is good to see something different & obviously others disagree with me about the food - each to their own. Would go again but it won't be our first choice.
