Has anyone seen how many flats that are cramming onto the two sites on North Road?? On one of the sites, they have knocked the old MOD house down and replaced it with 9 flats with parking. I see that the Ebenezer chapel has been knocked down as well. More flats? No wonder so many people are trying to move away from the road. Its a shame. Hertford is developing so many flats now, its looking like its heading towards the outer london suburbs. With Newland gardens, the Mead lane proposals, the Gates development, and north road, it are being over run with flats. I know we have housing needs, but if it continues, its going to rip the character out of the town, and create even more traffic problems. . Edited by - Dude on 25 Sep 2003 01:34:45
