This Saturday 2nd July!
If you are looking for something to do this weekend look no further then the Marquee! They have an REM tribute band on and tickets are only £7 or £8 I think maybe cheaper! I am going to be doing the DJing as well and was thinking of having a bit of fun and creating a bit of an indie disco feel to the evening???? what do you think??? maybe a bit of Stone Roses and Happy Mondays with some Blur and Pulp thrown in for good measure! If you do come down please introduce yourself to me and request a song or 2 as not many people ask for requests and I like to chat to fellow music fans.

The REM tribute band I could take or leave, but an indie disco sounds superb - "you're talking so hip man you're twisting my melons, man" [8D]

I was not expecting such a good reaction! please remember that this is really the REM tribute bands night I am just filling in the gaps [:I]. Although if I can drum up enought support for a real indie disco I could have a word with Kev and see if he would agree to let me do a proper night. I spent some time in Manchester and miss the indie disco nights they were fab![:D]

Nicky, won't be able to make this one as I have to visit the outlaws at the weekend, definitely up for an indie disco in the future when I'm free (to do what I want any old time) - keep us posted!
