How will the Olympics effect Hertford?
House prices?
Transport changes?
any events to happen here?
Ohh how about rowing on the river lea? Perhaps the Thames might be more suitable!
I am very much not in the know, butit would be good if we could all share what we hear about the Olympics intended effects on our area (Hertford).

i heard that the olympics were going to up house prices because we have a good railway link. also because the athletes themselves are more likely to stay in an area a little out of hackney like the hertford area. also i hear that the water sports are in broxbourne so that might affect it? on the transport thing i also heard (from good resources) that they are going to do up tjhe railways because of the broxbourne thing broxbourne gets a makeover and our railway is linking to the olympics so hears hoping [:D]

Maybe they need to come up with some more events that the locals re likely to be interested in. The shooting events could take on a whole new perspective!

The Olympics will only effect Hertford if athletes etc know where it is and what it has to offer. Other than that, some serious looking for alternative TV to the Games coverage.
