Management Company
Hi,
Does anyone know the name/contact details for the management company that look after the roads/flats on Caxton Hill? I need to complain about the large potholes and lack of street lighting, the council have told me they have nothing to do with it and haven't got back to me on who the company is.

This is something of a grey area as Caxton Hill is a private road. The owners have agents in Ware. Drainage and potholes have long been a problem. It is unclear whether responsibility for maintenance of the road is down the the owners or the properties served by it. If my information is correct, most of the servicing of the road in the past has been organised by Stephen Austin at the top of the hill - more out of goodwill than obligation.
The flats are a separate issue and have no connection with the road. They are as frustrated as anyone else about the condition of the road!

Hmm that's a bit of a PITA then. Don't want to bother Stephen Austin of course, but I'm finding it a bit amazing the council don't know who the company is, I'll keep badgering them :)
