Widford ?
As much as I love Hertford (SG13 parking situation is now unacceptable for anyone with a family) i am very close to moving out of town to Widford.
Can anyone give me views,feedback etc about the village, what the Green man pub is like ?. Is there anything I shud be forewarned about ?

As a regular commuter to Bishop's Stortford I would say beware the rush hour traffic. It gets VERY busy through Widford.
Also tickled me to find out there is a place called Minges about a mile away :-)

Is that the road to Ware or the spur down to Hunsdon ?
I take it the Hadham villages are busy too ?

It's the road that goes from Ware, through Wareside, Widford then bears left towards Haddam Cross / Much Hadham.
It's busiest towards Ware in the morning and away from Ware in the evening. Much Hadham can be a bit of a nightmare especially when drivers don't understand the term "right of way".
The 30/40 mph speed limit is never kept.
I'm thinking of starting up a business replacing car door mirrors in Much Hadham. I reckon it'll be like painting the Forth Road Bridge :-)
