Legal Document

Post by vc1 » Tue 28 Jan, 2014 5:44 pm

Hi
I need a basic legal document prepared (A Deed of Trust). Would anyone have any recommendation of a lawyer who can do this. I have had two quotes, one at £1000  and one at £295.
Thanks for your help.

Probate bureau by their nature do specialise in trust work - but not used them, only had them for a quote.

Last year Mrs S and I used the Garden House Solicitors in London Road to prepare our will (via Will Aid) and were reasonably impressed with the service and costs.

Having just checked out thier website (http://www.gardenhousesolicitors.co.uk/" target="_blank) and seen the "Reservoir Dogs" style image I'm not so sure now. :)

They are part of the Law Society "Lexcel" scheme (which I used to audit) which guarantees some minimum standards in their dealings with clients.
