About Discover Hertford Online

Discover Hertford Online is an information resource for the town of Hertford, a market town 30 miles (50km) north of London, with a population of around 28,000.

Established in 1998, we are an independent, privately financed website operating on a not-for-profit basis.

Based in the town centre, Discover Hertford is run by local people, which means that we know the town and understand the issues that concern both Hertford and the surrounding area.

We would like to encourage any group, individual or business to help contribute articles for inclusion into the site. We welcome contact from anyone, anywhere in the world with ideas, suggestions or their own stories.
