Independent Retailer Month

Independent traders in Hertford Town Centre are running a range of offers, in house promotions or charitable events as part of Independent Retailer month in July.

Independent Retailer Month is a global 'Shop Local' campaign that runs annually throughout July to highlight the important role smaller, local, independent retailers play in the communities they serve, the local economy they contribute to, and in the retail sector as a whole.

Chairman of the Hertford Town Council's Development and Leisure Committee, Isabel Sigmac said: "the range and quality of the independent retailers in Hertford is one of the reasons that people visit the town. I am extremely pleased to hear that a number of town centre businesses are taking advantage of the Independent Retailer Month initiative to promote their business offer".
