Soul-pop outfit The Christians interrupted their current 32-date tour to play a secret "unplugged" gig in Hertford last Saturday 26th October.

The band, popular in the eighties for chart toppers such as "Ideal World" and "Forgotten Town" performed to an intimate audience of 50 people above The Guitar Studio in Railway Place, Hertford.
The line-up consisted of singer Garry Christian, guitarist Joey Ankrah and guitarist Neil Griffiths.
Neil and Jess Drummond of The Guitar Studio said "We feel so privileged to have had a band of their calibre playing above our shop and we would love to do it again ”.
Lead singer Gary Christian said "This is a happening, we would like to come back"
The band were supported by The Huxleys, who recently played at Hertford’s Rock At The Castle and The Corn Exchange.
Following their performance, the band joined fans for drinks at the nearby The Great Eastern Tavern.
