Evron Wharf Works Begins

Demolition work has started in preparation for the construction of 182 new homes by the River Lee at the end of Marshgate Drive.

The Weston Homes development was originally refused planning permission by the District Council but was granted on appeal by The Planning Inspectorate.

Evron Wharf will include architectural features also found on the nearby Elder Court development, which was also built by Weston Homes.

Part of the site used to be a record factory in the 1920s.
