Police have issued a CCTV image of a man they would like to talk to in connection with an assault that occurred in Hertford on Friday 16th August.

The assault occurred outside Prezzo’s in Hertford town centre at around 2am, when the victim was attacked by an unknown man, described as white and aged between 18 and 25, with a slim build, short brown hair and wearing a plain white polo-shirt. The victim, a man aged 27, received serious injuries to his eye-socket as a result of the incident.
Detective Constable Shaun Turner said: "We are investigating a very serious incident where an unprovoked attacked upon the victim lead to serious injury which could have resulted in a loss of sight. I would urge anyone who was in the immediate area at the time and witnessed the attack or who may have information to contact us immediately."
