A computer, handbag and purse were stolen from a parked vehicle last Wednesday.
The theft took place between 2:30pm and 3:30pm last Wednesday 4th December behind The Oak Room shop in Fore Street . The rear driver’s side window of a purple Toyota was smashed and a straw wicker basket taken from the vehicle.
A man was seen in the area at the time of the incident and police are eager to speak to him as he may have witnessed the theft or have other information vital to the investigation. He is described as being of Eastern European background, aged in his early 20s and of tall and lean build. He had a large nose, dark hair and brown eyes. He was wearing black clothes and a fleece hat. He was riding a black bike.
