Bollywoods Raided

Indian restaurant Bollywoods in Fore Street has been raided by immigration officials and illegal workers found on the premises.

The raid took place last Wednesday 11th December when enforcement officers entered the premises on an intelligence led operation.

Two Bangladeshi members of staff were found to have overstayed their visas whilst a third had an outstanding application that had not yet been determined.

The business was earlier raided in 2009 when four illegal workers were found on the premises.

Owners who employ illegal workers face fines of up to £10,000 for each infringement.
