Charity Furniture Shop For Waters Site

The derelict Waters site in North Road could become the temporary home for a charity shop if planning officers give consent.
The site owners have submitted a planning application for a 12 month change of use so that Emmaus can establish a shop selling second hand furniture.
The charity works with the homeless to offer them a stable home and work.
This news archive was previously known as the 'blog' and ran from June 2009 until July 2014.
Following a four year hiatus the news service was re-introduced as a pilot in April 2018..
