Sovereign House To Be Demolished

Planning permission has been granted for the demolition of Sovereign House and the development of 84 new homes on the site.
The existing building will be replaced by two blocks of flats offering 84 homes with parking for 83 vehicles.
The development will comprise of 22 one bed flats, 55 two bed and 7 three bed. The new build block fronting Gascoyne Way will be five storeys high, although the overall height will be 2.5m less than the existing building.
The former cold war bunker beneath Sovereign House will become parking for the development..
