There will be a range of stalls with representatives from a number of organisations for people to talk to, including Riversmead Housing Association, East Herts District Council, Citizen Advice Bureau and Hertford Regional College.

Police Community Support Officer Mandy Miller is organising the event and said: "We’re really looking forward to the event and getting to know our local residents even better. We’ll be on hand during the afternoon to hear about any concerns you have, and you can also find out what we’ve been doing to make the area an even better place to live.

"It will be a really fun day with lots of activities to take part in, as well as help and advice available from a range of local services. I look forward to seeing as many people on the day as possible."

There will also be a number of fun activities for all the family, including face painting, a colouring competition, as well as demonstrations by a dog from the Hertfordshire Fire and Rescue Service and a prize draw.

Jane How, Riversmead Housing Officer for Sele, added: "This a great opportunity for residents to come together, get to know each other and find out more about the work we're doing in the neighbourhood with partners like the police and local council to make Sele an even better place to live. Last year's event had a great response and created a real sense of community spirit - this year's event looks set to be even better!"
