A Hertford man has been fined following his arrest in Hartham Common for possession of Class A drugs.
Shane Davies from Carriden Court was arrested on Saturday 24th March after local officers spotted him behaving suspiciously under a bridge close to the car park. He was charged with being in possession of a controlled drug (class A) and was fined ?195 after appearing at East Herts Magistrates Court.
Arresting officer PC Owen Davies said: "We have been paying special attention to the park following reports regarding undesirable activity in the area. Following this arrest we instigated a full clean-up of the area with the East Herts District Council."
