Car Park To Be Refurbished

Drivers are being encouraged to use alternative car parks whilst the Old London Road car park closes temporarily for resurfacing work.

The 100 space car park will be closed from Monday 13th August to Friday 17th August, when the Council's £100,000 refurbishment project will be completed.

As part of the refurbishment the car park will be resurfaced and re-marked and will change from long stay parking only, to mixed use (long and short stay) parking. At the same time a dedicated collection and drop-off area for pupils at the nearby Abel Smith School will be created - a first for East Herts.

The nearest alternative long stay car parks are Gascoyne Way, Hartham Common and Hartham Lane.
