Police are asking for the public's help to find a woman who went missing from her Bengeo home yesterday afternoon.
73 year-old Irene Daffada disappeared from her home address in Glebe Road at around 4.30pm. She is described as a white woman of medium build with short, dark, blond hair. She was wearing green and white striped cropped trousers and a green coloured top.
It is possible that Irene left her home address via the back garden, which would have taken her onto Watermill Lane.
Investigating Officer Sergeant Andrew Palfreyman said: "We need to find Irene as soon as possible. She takes regular medication and it is unlikely that she has this on her. She may also be in a confused state."
Anyone with information about the incident should contact Herts Police non-emergency number 101.
Update: Irene Daffada was later found in Benegeo at 3:20pm.
