Retirement Village Planned For Green Belt

Plans for a retirement village featuring 144 living units, outdoor recreational facilities and a restaurant on green belt land have been submitted to the District Council.
The development at Terrace Wood includes three-storey residential blocks, tennis courts, bowling greens, a restaurant and offices.
The site is 250 metres south-west of Hertford Football Club and access would be provided via Horns Mill Road.
The outline proposals have been submitted by Woodland Retirement Village Ltd. The District Council were not consulted before the application was submitted.
