Neighbourhood Inspector Chris Hunt said: "In the majority of these cases items of value had been left in the vehicles and some cars were left insecure, so it's a reminder to us all to ensure we remove, as much as possible, any valuables from our cars and vans and lock our vehicles". "It is also important that people remain vigilant and look out for any suspicious activity around vehicles and phone it in to police immediately via 999 so we can take action."
