Costa Coffee Opens

Costa Coffee have opened a coffee shop in Maidenhaed Street.
The franchised outlet seats 20 and is run by Karachi based Gerry's Group, Pakistan's largest Aviation and Travel Service Company.
The District Council recently refused planning permission for a new shopfront and the premises have retained the windows used by former occupant Coles Menswear. However, the company has not applied for planning permission for change of use, arguing that most of their sales will be retail and therefore no application for change of use is required.

Following a four year hiatus the news service was re-introduced as a pilot in April 2018..
