Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a burglary at the Scout Hut in Marshgate Drive between Saturday, 16th and Monday 18th April.

Two outboard motors were taken in the burglary after a shed was broken into. One of the motors was later retrieved from the river near the lock house. The other is still missing.
Investigating officer, Sergeant Martin Singleton, said: "I am appealing for anyone who saw any suspicious activity near to the Scout Hut during the stated times to get in contact. I would also be interested to hear from anyone who saw anyone acting suspiciously around the river where the boat motor was dumped."
He added: "If you have recently been offered a boat motor for sale, I would also like to hear from you."
Anyone with information is asked to contact PS Singleton on 0845 3300 222 citing crime reference number A1/11/1193.
