A new book featuring old and current photos of the town side by side has been launched this week.
The launch took place on Sunday at Hertford Castle during the Open Day staged at part of the town's Heritage Day.
Hertford Through Time is written by Peter Ruffles and museum volunteer Jan Purkiss, and features 180 photos, with old pictures sourced from Hertford Museum and contemporary shots taken by Stephen Poulter, former co-owner of Books@Hertford.
The book costs £14.99 and is available from Hertford Museum or Books@Hoddesdon.
