Lussmanns Win Award

Lussmanns in Fore Street have won the Independent Restaurant category of the national RSPCA Good Business Awards.

The award recognises companies that have the best animal welfare policies.

Following the presentation of the award at a ceremony in London on 5th October, Andrei Lussmann said: "The welfare of what we eat should come first when eating. Restaurants and retailers owe it as much to the diner as to the animal in insisting that the animal lives a fulfilled life before death. If we cannot afford this simple but essential approach we should consider not eating meat."

Lussmanns are also recommended by The Good Food Guide 2012 and have two ther restaurants in St.Albans and Bishop's Stortford.
