Burglary At Football Club

Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a burglary at Hertford Football Club in West Street on Monday 3rd October.

The offenders broke into the building by forcing open a door before going into the bar area and stealing alcohol, sweets and chocolate. However, they were disturbed by a member of staff and ran from the premises and over a fence.

PC Dean Watson from Intervention in Hertford is investigating and said: "Sadly it is not clear which way the offender(s) ran from the scene but if you were in the area at the time and saw anyone acting suspiciously to contact police with information."
